September 5, 2025 Seafood Update
One of the certainties in fishing is that it will always look a little different than the year before. This year we have not been able to offer as many species as in the past. Since we only sell the seafood that we catch, right now we are limited to only halibut and rockfish. Our boat is currently out fishing for pink salmon and transitioning to fishing for Sockeye Salmon during the month of September. We plan to offer a limited supply of red salmon fillets this year. Get ahold of us via email or call us to pre-order/ reserve your salmon today. There is a locals discount for anyone purchasing salmon in Kodiak, AK that does not require shipping.
Fisheries in Alaska are seasonal. Salmon is our focus in the summer and Bairdi Crab, also known as Tanner Crab, is our focus in January. Pacific Cod, Halibut, and Rockfish seasons are in the Spring, while Ling Cod, and Halibut are our fall fisheries. There are options for immediate purchase and pre-order depending on the seasonality and availability of what you are craving. Let us know if there’s something you’re not seeing, but are interested in. Starting in the summer of 2024 we will also have salmon subscription boxes available for your convenience.
Throughout the year we expect to sell Red Salmon, Cod, Halibut, Rockfish, Tanner Crab.
